About our Scholarships
The Eastern Washington Section of the American Nuclear Society is committed to encouraging students to enter the field of nuclear science and technology and to advancing the careers of young nuclear professionals.
During the first quarter, ANS-EWS will be administering scholarships for the upcoming school year. Selected candidate(s) are eligible to receive a one-year scholarship of $2,500.
Applicants must be high school seniors or existing college students planning a career in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a four-year college or university in the U.S.
To apply, download and fill out the scholarship package that is provided on this page (package will be made available every year by mid- January).

Rules and Regulations
The scholarship application, copy of official transcript, letter(s) of reference and current resume must all be emailed together as a complete packet.
The complete scholarship package must be submitted by the deadline listed on the application to be considered. Email application packets to ANS-EWS@proton.me
Incomplete and/or late packets will not be considered.
Applicants must be planning a career in nuclear science, nuclear engineering or a nuclear-related field. Note that the EWS-ANS chapter scholarships for the most part, are restricted to students from Washington, Idaho and Oregon. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
